Genesys Works is a non-profits social enterprise that provides opportunities for driven, low-income high school students through meaningful work experiences. They were looking to create a new video for their campaign, #EmployChange, and Mediamazing was on hand for the production.

Renting out the Style Society studio for the day, we worked with several Genesys Works students who interacted with the producers online via Zoom to perfect their script reads.

The Valley Friendship Club, a nonprofit offering social and educational opportunities to children, teens and young adults with disabilities, partnered with The Zephyr Theatre for “The Silent Film Project,” a theater and arts residency during the 2020 summer. A group of instructors worked alongside the students to create and perform in their own original silent film. The film was then played in front of friends and family at the wrap party.

It was a privilege to be one of the instructors working alongside the students and producing the short film.

In what has become a holiday tradition, the Zephyr Theatre, in collaboration with Crosswinds Community Church, presented the Frank Capra classic “It’s a Wonderful Life.” The classic tale of struggle and redemption in small-town America enjoyed a sold-out run throughout the month of December.
