Back on the Course: Photographing MnFORE 2026 for Minnesota Firefighter Initiative

Some events you look forward to every year — MnFORE is at the top of the list.

Mediamazing returned to photograph MnFORE 2026, the annual charity golf tournament benefiting the Minnesota Firefighter Initiative (MnFIRE). This year's event took place at Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake, and as always, it delivered exactly what we've come to expect — great people, a worthy cause, and no shortage of moments worth capturing.

A Cause Worth Showing Up For

MnFIRE exists to give Minnesota's firefighters the tools they need to protect their health — both physical and mental. It's easy to forget that the people who run toward danger carry that weight long after the call ends. MnFORE raises the funds that make that support possible.

The Fun Is Half the Story

Golf tournaments have a personality all their own, and MnFORE turns it up. Over the years we've photographed this event, we've learned that some of the best shots have nothing to do with the actual golf. The antics on the course, the reactions, the between-hole moments — that's where the real energy lives, and we're always ready for it.

There's something about an event that genuinely means something to the people in it. You can feel it in the room — or in this case, on the fairway. The MnFORE crowd shows up with enthusiasm every year, and that makes our job as photographers a whole lot more rewarding.
